How to Deposit BTC, ETH or LTC on Tap

Looking to tap into the seamless altbanking experience that Tap is known for? Allowing you to manage your fiat and crypto portfolios from one secure and convenient location, Tap is delivering the next generation of banking. While you can buy cryptocurrencies directly through the app, you can also onboard them from other wallets you might own. In this guide, we’re going to show you how to deposit BTC, ETH or LTC on Tap, from where you can store, spend or trade them.

Before we get into it, make sure you have downloaded the Tap app (you can do so directly from the Apple Store or Google Play Store) and have verified your account.

Step 1
Deposit your Crypto
Now that you’ve created your account and received your KYC approval, it’s time to get loading. From the home page of the app select the blue Load button (as indicated in the image below).
Step 2
Select BTC, ETH or LTC
You will then be asked to select which cryptocurrency you would like to load, whether it be Bitcoin, Ethereum, or Litecoin. Of course, you can load your Tap wallet with all three options, however, you will need to do these individually.
Step 3
Deposit your Crypto to the Provided Wallet Address
Once you have selected which cryptocurrency you would like to load, you will be given your unique wallet address. You can either scan the QR code or copy the wallet address to paste into your transaction from the alternative wallet.
